At GBEC Scotland Ltd we are committed to the ongoing professional development of our team. We believe that investing in training is essential to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and innovation in the electrical industry.
All of our electricians and apprentices undergo regular training to ensure they remain fully compliant with the latest regulations, including the IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), health and safety legislation, and industry best practices. We support continuous professional development through accredited courses, manufacturer-led sessions, toolbox talks, and on-site mentoring.
Our goal is to foster a skilled, knowledgeable, and safety-conscious workforce capable of delivering outstanding electrical solutions across domestic, commercial, and industrial environments.

Success Story
Scott Mcarthur began his journey with GBEC as an apprentice in 2013. During his time with us, he was honoured with both the Apprentice of the Year, twice, and Business Star awards. After qualifying as an electrician, Scott remained with the company until 2021, when he transitioned into a new role as an electrical lecturer at Perth College. Today, he continues to support the electrical trade by helping train and mentor our current apprentices.
