As a locally rooted electrical contractor based in Forteviot, we are proud to play an active role in supporting the people and places around us. Installation of defibs in local community
As a business located in a local village community, we believe in using our expertise to make a meaningful difference. To support the health and safety of those around us, we have proudly installed defibrillators in our own village and neighbouring village Forgandenny. We wanted to do this to show our commitment to community wellbeing and our belief that our business will play an active role in protecting and supporting the people we serve.
Volunteer at Perth City Swim Club
As part of our wider commitment to supporting young people from an early age – encouraging confidence, discipline, and ambition through sport, we are proud to support Perth City Swim Club. We believe in investing in the next generation and creating opportunities for all young people to thrive. Our Director, Claire, is a former Committee Member and has been a regular volunteer and Judge at swimming events across Scotland for the past 8 years. GBEC were a sponsor of their Warm Weather Camp 2023.
Volunteer help at Perth Foodbank
As part of our commitment to creating positive change in the community, we actively support and volunteer at our local foodbank. Our team regularly gives their time to assist with sorting donations and offering a helping hand where it’s needed most. We’re proud to play a hands-on role in supporting local families and building a stronger, more caring community for everyone
Forteviot Village Hall Committee Member
As a business, we are proud to support our local village hall, both through ongoing electrical assistance and active community involvement. Our Director, Claire, serves on the village hall committee, helping to promote and enhance the valuable work they do. By contributing our time and expertise, we aim to strengthen local resources and ensure the hall remains a welcoming hub for everyone in the community.

As active members of ‘Forteviot in Bloom’, we take pride in helping to keep our village and local community beautiful and welcoming. From planting flowers to lending a hand wherever needed, we’re committed to supporting the peaceful, well-kept environment that makes Forteviot such a special place to live and work.

As a business, we are proud to regularly support local events and initiatives that bring our community together. This includes donations to The rotary club golf days, contributions to our local equestrian events, and providing raffle prizes for smaller fundraisers.
